磁阻尼器是利用磁场对在其中运动的导体的作用力获得振动阻尼的装置。导体(或线圈)d置于磁傅拇懦≈校琧固定在基础s上,d与振动器m刚性连接。当m作垂直运动时,导体中就会产生感应电流,运动能量就会被部分吸收,导体受到的阻尼力与速度成正比。其缺点是只能控制垂直方向的振动,由于磁场的不均匀性,阻尼系数也会因位移而变,且较大的阻尼力要求较大的磁场
